Norman Ewing

Norman Ewing is the Managing Director of Ewing Associates. He started the business in 1987 after gaining his qualifications to become a Financial Planner, previously trained as an Accountant and worked in Manufacturing where he was the Managing Director of a company in the Construction Industry.

Over the past 30 years, Norman has successfully grown Ewing Associates where the Business now has 16 staff. Openwork held a celebratory event in London to honour Norman for his great achievement in hitting 30 years in the business.

Norman is very passionate about his clients and spreads the ethos that ‘clients are at the heart of everything we do’. Clients see Norman as a trusted friend who gives guidance on all aspects of life, business and finances. Norman’s main priority for clients are to plan for the future, protect their loved ones and most importantly to enjoy the journey. The success of his business, retention and growth of his clients speak volumes about the Advice and Service that he provides.

In 2010 Norman hired Chris James, a Financial Planner, to work alongside him to help service his clients. The goal was to ensure that the client relationships and portfolios he had created could be maintained to the highest possible standard and carried through to the next generation. The mix provided by Chris and Norman has been recognised within Openwork’s ‘Elite Top 100 Financial Planners’ from a network of over 2,000 Financial Planners.

Outside of work, you can often find Norman supporting Northampton Saints Rugby Club and England (when they aren’t playing Ireland).

He also enjoys spending time with friends and you may find an Art Piece or two in the Office that his Wife has painted.
